What we prepare
We produce a complete set of statutory accounts tailored to your company’s size and type, in the format required by Companies House and HMRC.
02
Balance Sheet
A comprehensive statement of your company’s assets, liabilities, and financial performance for the year, prepared in accordance with UK accounting standards.
Notes to the Accounts
Detailed notes covering your accounting policies, significant transactions, director remuneration, and any other disclosures required by the Companies Act or UK GAAP.
Statement of Changes
A clear summary of movements in your company’s share capital and retained earnings during the year.
Cash Flow Statement
A statement of cash flows showing how money moved in and out of the business during the year, demonstrating the real liquidity of the company.
Why trust us with your year-end?
Year-end accounts require both numerical accuracy and a thorough understanding of UK accounting standards and company law. Getting it wrong can lead to Companies House late filing penalties and problems with your corporation tax return.
iXBRL Format for HMRC
We prepare your accounts in the iXBRL digital format required by HMRC for online corporation tax submissions, ready to be signed off by a company director.
Working with auditors
If your company meets the criteria for a statutory audit, we liaise with your auditor and provide all the supporting schedules and documentation they need.
Deadlines managed
We monitor your filing deadlines: 9 months after your financial year-end for Companies House, and 12 months for your corporation tax return with HMRC.
Peace of mind and security
Regular review of your tax account means we catch discrepancies early and keep your affairs in order throughout the year.
Deadline guarantee
We track every submission deadline so you never face late filing penalties from HMRC.
Acting as your agent
Once authorised, we manage all correspondence with HMRC directly, saving you time and stress.
Year-end accounts that do more than just satisfy Companies House
Filing annual accounts is a legal obligation, but good year-end accounts are also one of the most useful financial documents your business produces. They tell the story of your year — what you earned, what you spent, what you owe, and what you own. Used well, they are a planning tool, a conversation starter with lenders or investors, and a benchmark for the year ahead.
ITS Accounting prepares your statutory accounts in full — balance sheet, profit and loss account, notes to the accounts, and your corporation tax computation — in the formats required by Companies House and HMRC. We use HMRC-approved iXBRL software for digital filing, and we manage the deadlines so you never face an automatic penalty for late submission.
We also do not just hand you a set of accounts and disappear. We walk you through the numbers, explain what they mean, and flag anything that should inform your decisions over the next twelve months. If your gross margin has shifted, if your debtor days are creeping up, if there is a tax planning opportunity in your figures — we tell you.
If your company is required to have a statutory audit, we work closely with your auditor throughout the process, providing all the schedules and supporting documentation they need to complete their work efficiently.
Year-end does not have to be a stressful time of year. With ITS Accounting, it rarely is..
